The state certified program is 12 hours in length. Specific course topics include alcohol/drug and traffic safety problems, Texas laws relating to DWI, effects of alcohol/drugs on humans, alcohol/drugs and driving task abilities, chemical dependency, symptoms of dependency, sources of assistance, costs of DWI, and decision-making.

 The state certified program is 32 hours in length. Specific course topics include lifestyle issues, values, self-esteem, positive thinking vs irrational beliefs, responsibility, physiological/psychological effects of drugs, alcoholism, chemical dependency, how drug abuse affects family members, codependency, Al-non, treatment options, 12- Step-Help groups, peer pressure, relapse prevention, problem solving and action planning.

 The state certified program is 15 hours in length.   MRT is an effective systemic, cognitive-behavioral approach that treats a wide range of issues including substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma, parenting, job skills, and other issues. The program is implemented in groups utilizing workbooks directly targeting specific issues.

Topics of what is stress & stress management, mental stress-strategies, stress management practices for work & home, time management tips, drainers & fillers, and stress management maintenance skills.

Victim Impact Panel

 The Victim Impact Panel is live and presented by someone who has been personally affected by a DWI. The presentation will include a personal testimony on the tragic consequences of DWIs. The program is 2 hours in length and is designed to increase the awareness of participants by educating them on the impact of alcohol and/or drugs on others and themselves.

 One on one or small group format class designed for individuals with serious offenses, multiple citations, or chronic driving issues. The class covers accepting responsibility for reckless or aggressive driving behaviors, examining one’s current lifestyle and other issues that may be a factor in illegal and reckless driving behaviors.
